As a collective, we strive to do positive things to better our community and to give back. This song was written in early 2019 after our daughter was diagnosed with a severe case of pneumonia that resulted in several surgeries and hospitalized her for a two month span. During our stay at the Children’s Hospital, we were astounded by the number of small gifts we as a family receive from outside sources. That really helped us to get through our tough times, as well as, give our daughter something positive to focus on each day. Those small things meant the world to us and our kids. We knew we needed to do our part and giving back. So in return, to show our gratitude, we organized a local toy drive in our hometown, Beloit, WI. The organization we gathered toys for delivers toys to thousands of kids in our community to those who need a boost of life and love the most. We only can hope that this small act brought even a small smile to the face of a child or parent in need. When your cup is overflowing give back.
